Fan participation
It’s important for us to have you guys involved as much as we can. This company can only work with you and, therefore, we want you to be able to be a part of this. We‘ll try our best to involve you in any decision possible. There will be loads of polls, options for you to put in requests and, of course, give us feedback. We will try to consider your wishes and try to make them come true. We want you to enjoy your experience with us.
Charitable work
Charity is a very important aspect for us. We’re privileged but there is so much out in the world that needs change. We know that conventions are a way of bringing people together and what’s better than using this to spread some good? With our conventions you will get introduced to many different charities, which will always be chosen by the guests themselves. You’ll learn what those charities stand for and a part of the money you spend buying tickets for our conventions will be donated to those charities.
Memories
We want you to experience moments that you will remember forever. We know that conventions are a great way to create memories and that’s what we want for you. Meeting your favourite actors/actresses, maybe even enjoying fun activities with them – We will try our best to create experiences that haven’t happened before, things that you will still smile about in years.

Nicole - Manager & Founder
“As cliché as this may sound, the idea of starting my own company had two basic reasons. For years I’ve had the most fun ever meeting artists after concerts or at conventions and ever since I can remember, I’ve been the organiser of every event or trip in my friends group. It took me a while to figure it out, but by combining my skills at organisation with my passion for meeting artists, starting my own convention company is what I want to do more than anything. I’m hoping to bring many people the same joy that I experienced so many times. My experiences as a visitor of conventions will be a big benefit to this company.”
Nicole is the manager of Waves Conventions, as well as the founder of the company. She graduated from university in Fall 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in English and American Studies. During her studies she took several management and marketing courses. In July 2023 she finished her diploma for Event Management and officially launched her company.
Michelle - Backoffice
“Managing and organising projects has always been something I enjoyed a lot, which is why I chose the educational path of management and marketing. In my free time I love going to concerts and meeting the artists afterwards makes the experience even better. By working with Waves Conventions I can combine my knowledge with my passion. I’m happy to be part of this company and really excited for where it will go in the future.”
After getting her master’s degree in cultural studies, Michelle has recently finished her commercial degree as office administrator and will be joining the company as a member of the organisational staff. She’ll be mostly working in the back office, helping costumers with any questions. She will also be present at events, overseeing that everything works according to schedule and helping with any occurring issues.

“After being Nicoles “personal photographer” for years it was pretty clear that I should join her in this project as well. I’m very passionate when it comes to photo and videography and every time we visit a convention together I’m always analysing the way the photographers work. Therefore I am very aware of what is important when it comes to taking good convention photos and I will give my heart to capture these exciting moments in the best way possible.“
Sam supports the company in the field of photo- and videography. She holds a bachelors degree in Media communications since 2021 and works full-time as a cutter at a TV production firm. Besides that she’s creating different video and short film projects in her free time and doing photoshoots where she specializes in portraits.
Josephine - photographer
“I´ve always wanted to connect the things that I am passionate about. From a young age I started to develop an obsession with photography. I love to see people get excited over the pictures I take of them and I always felt like I had to go deeper into this passion. For me convention always gave me so much happiness. The nerd in me loves meeting the people who are part of my comfort movies and shows. Walking through a bunch of Storm Troopers, meeting a version of Captain America or simply having a totally normal conversation about tattoos with Archie Renaux made me unbelievably happy and I want to give others the same option. Sharing is caring right? I want to make people happy and give them their own core memories.”
Josephine studied photography and is now studying tourism- and eventmanagement to pursue all her passions in one job. She is also passionate about reading books, going to concerts and taking pictures that make people want to travel the world.
Every person presented on this page, except for the owner Nicole, is working as an unpaid volunteer.
